2006 Pontiac G6 power steering

Asked by Shellz2160 Nov 30, 2017 at 09:31 AM about the 2006 Pontiac G6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When car is setting idle
you can visibly see the
steering wheel slightly
moving back and forth (on
its own) and sometimes
when I crank car, steering
wheel will not turn at all. I
have to turn car off then
try again and it will
typically crank and not be
locked(steering wheel).
What is wrong with it?
Power steering, which best
I've figured out is
electronic, so what would I
need to do?

Check engine light is on. Also, I have found out there are few recalls on this model vehicle so the dealership is going to look into it and get it fixed. Thank you for your info.
