Does anyone happen to know what this may be?

Asked by Guru646ZC Mar 09, 2020 at 08:20 PM about the 2006 Pontiac Montana SV6

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Does anyone happen to know what this is?
There is a hole and it is leaking some sort of
oil or fluid, it’s located on the passenger side
near wheel. I have honestly looked up
everything to try and find out what it is. Sorry
if this is an ignorant question, I’m just not
very knowledgeable about cars. Thanks.

Is your AC or defroster turned on? It could just be condensate dripping harmlessly the way it always does.

what you circled looks like the structural part of the unibody and the hole in the bottom is part of the structure. The brown splatter you circled looks to me like mud flung there from the driveshaft

This just looks like moisture drippings https://i.imgur.com/UMBcbwb.png This looks like oil drippings https://i.imgur.com/ku1PIry.png
