Check the fuses in the front right hand box third and forth fuse if that doesnt work just run a direct to the fan and if the fan works then check the fuse and the wiring after to run a direct connect two wires one from the positive pole and one from the pole on the battery and carry it to the positive and negative wires on the fan when you touch the wires the correct way the fan will spin to the engine of the car try that had the same problem careful with this cause it will cause the engine to start knocking
Ok. I was told if thermostat making hot. It would be hot no matter how slow or fast I'm going. Fan run hot only, when running low speed, do you know if this true? Thanks
Also, although this sounds like it might be a fan issue, it may also be air trapped in the cooling system. That's an extremely common problem after draining and refilling the system. Trapped air will cause all sorts of problems and ruin your engine if you don't correct it. Did you use the bleeder valve near the thermostat to release any trapped air after refilling?
I bled it still runs hot, but only when I'm stop and go , when on highway not hot. Temp have went 3/4 fan didn't come on, so it's the fan right
Possibly. Is it overheating or just running hot? There's a difference. If the car gets hot but doesn't overheat you're probably OK. The fans don't run much in some cars.
You were right, it was the fan. My car is running great again thank you so very much
