Shifter moves but won't engaged gears

I try to do a u turn and had to reverse and the
car wouldn't engaged reverse shifter would
move hot off and pushed  the car then was
able to engage drive and drove home the
next day I was able to move the car a couple
hundred feet and now the car would not
engaged any gear

DOES TRANNY FLUID SMELL BURNT OR IS DARK YOU TAKE TO TRANNY SHOP HAVE IT LOOKED AT TOURQE CONVERTER POSSIBLE PROBLEM OR SHIFT SOLONOIDS COULD BE PROBLEM

I literally have the same problem, i turned the corner and and went to put it in reverse to park but when i tried to put it back in drive it stayed in reverse so now I’m stuck in reverse and the car won’t start , any help?
