a.c.

Question type: Maintenance & Repair
Do the Fuses to the a.c. have anything to do with the cooling process. When I have my car on and turn the a.c. on it kills the motor.

Does the compressor turn with the motion of the belt? Does it bind and freeze causing the car to stall when you turn on the AC? If these are your symptoms, you probably need a new compressor. Fuses will not stall your engine and have nothing to do with the "cooling process". They are there to make sure a failing component does not burn up your entire system.
