2004 Pontiac Grand Am passenger Power windows will not work

Asked by Twiztidprincess85 Nov 25, 2016 at 11:14 PM about the 2004 Pontiac Grand Am

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The windows on just the passenger side will
not work even with the main switch on the
driver side. Neither the front or back has a
switch on the door (it was missing when I
bought the car) but the driver side works
fine. It seems like even without the switch ib
the door that the windows would work with
the switch on the driver side at least, but it
doesn't even, make a noise like the motor is
working in either one. What can I check to
try to find the problem? And what would
cause both windows on one side to stop
working?

May sound strange old timers trick give the door a good hard hit with your hand all around where a switch would be front and back. Try it a couple of times.there is only one motor that controls the windows.driver door. That would be your next thing to look into
