my 04 bonny gxp just had the oil pressure gauge drop to zero and stay there. No change in vehicle operations. Possiblile reasons why., and most likely.

oil pressure dropped to zero while driving and light came on. Car still runs
the same. Possible reasons for pressure loss?

Since the car runs the same I would say the pressure sender went bad or the wire that goes to it came loose or broke.
