how do I change that litte heater bypass elbow on a 2003 Pontiac bonneville

Loosen the engine bracket and then the bracket that the elbow attaches will move enough to get the new one in. Old one is easier to just break it and pull it out. Also if you are looking for the part it is a heater hose fitting, at least thats what the parts store files it under. Also, get the aluminum version of the elbow. If you get the plastic one you'll be fixing it again in a couple months.
