Replaced thermostat on 2002 Aztec still getting hot opened bleeder blew air out for an hour before getting hot again how long does it take to bleed system?

Turn vehicle off open bleeder fill the cooling system while off until coolant starts coming out of bleeder by water pump. Tighten bleeder and close system. Restart and let idle with heat on and periodically while temperature is coming up open bleeder and make sure coolant is coming out and close back. Monitor temperature in vehicle. Hold throttle at about 1500 rpm and make sure you're getting heat out of vents. Replacing a thermostat vehicle temp may get up to about 3/4 on temp gauge and monitor fans coming on a little over half way. Still periodically open bleeder to make sure you have coolant flow by water pump. Engines are notorious for air pockets in system

If coolant fans aren't coming on at about 215 degrees. Temperature sensor may be bad
