2001 pontiac grand am v6 battery keeps dying and my altenator is good

I put a new/used engine in my car and now
my battery light is on and battery keeps
dying. Ive had my altenator tested and it
comes back perfect. What could be the
probem?

Make sure wires to Alternator are good ,maybe a pinch harness or blown fuse.!

Ive checked the fuses and there all good. Wen i disconnect pos batt cable my car does die

The Alternator is not charging your battery , you have a pinch wire most likely or faullty connection at battery or Alternator
