how do i change the belt on my 2001 sunfire 2.4L

Hi 1155 ... We love serpentine belts don't we? If you are the adventurous type and the belt still is on the car talk some pictures to record the path of the belt and then experiment with loosening the components it drives. Or if you want to be more practical about it get a hold of your Sunfire's Chilton's manual which will give the procedure, step-by-step, so you don't undo something you'll regret or spend more time than you need to. try your local library, you may get lucky and get the procedure for the cost of a few 25-cent copies. Failing that try your local parts place or book store. If you strikeout there try ebay or amazon.com. A small investment here will pay off big time on this job alone. Good luck!
