2.4 pontiac no spark

i have a 2000 grand am 2.4 ive just replaced my blown engine and now the new one is not
getting spark. ive switched the crank sensor and the alum. plate with the coils and still is
not starting any ideas?

http://repairpal.com/no-start-due-to-ignition-switch-failure-652..talks about no-start because of ignition switch but that is probably not it

Both coupe and sedan came with an option of a 2.4L I4 or a 3.4L V6 and they will not interchange ECU
