My car has been quitting for no reason even in  motion. it usually will start right
up and as that is happening the security light flashes. Anybody know what I can
do/and how much will it cost.

Cost can't be known until the problem is known. Start by scanning for trouble codes. Then research those codes to find out what they mean. Then do more trouble shooting to pinpoint the problem. For example a failed sensor code does not necessarily mean the sensor has failed. The problem could be in the wiring which makes the computer think the sensor has failed. In other words don't start replacing parts until you actually know what's wrong. If all this goes beyond your skill or time level then find a shop who will do proper diagnostics and spend a few dollars there getting it figured out.
