My heating gauge only goes up when my air is on
an it's summer time I need my air what should I do

If you are referring to the Temperature Gauge on the instrument panel, then check to see if the electric fan(s) are coming on when you turn on the AC. If not, that could be why the engine temperature is rising when you turn on your air conditioning.
