car starts then dies

My 99 grand am starts and then stalls out.
I've read several posts regarding the
relearn trick where you leave the key ON
for 10 minutes etc etc but this isn't
working. Is it possible my key fob is dead?

If your car is equipped. With an imobilizer then it's the transponder in the fob or the. Signal reader in the ignition. This sounds weird but heat up your fob. With a hairdryer. Get it real hot. IF r car starts after that then it is your fob. If it does not start. Disconnect the battery. Touch the positive anD negative terminal together for 10 MIN. Reconnect and try it.
The key had same problem key was the issue if I didn’t use the right key it didn’t work figured out when I seen theses post thanks guys
