ABS light on and shifting hard

Well I had to change out the motor in my 99 sunfire 2.4L, was shifting just fine
before changing out the , motor, now abs light on , shifting hard, no check
engine light on, no codes, when i drive it it runs high rpm's before shifting, I'm
stumped

ASB light has nothing to do with your transmission. You might have a wheel bearing going bad and that is causing your tranny to work a little harder. It would also light up your ASB light.

The ABS in a Sunfire is a very common problem, I would recommend getting it turned off. That improved my car a lot, I'd also get your transmission checked as well.
