Replaced my sons starter and sparks fly from battery terminal when I try to replace the neg cable on battery, also as soon as I make contact and sparks fly starter is engaged - does anyone know what the problem could be?  Thanks!

well its normal to see sparks when you put back the terminals on the battery. try checkign your connections at the starter you might have the wires touching or wrong wires at wrong terminals

How my wires go on my 2002 grand am Gt 6 I have one big one a min one n a very small one I don't remember were they go
