97 firebird formula

Trying to buy a 91 formula and he says car runs
and drives n all gravy but has a miss in the engine.
What could tht mean and is there any possible way
to figure an estimated cost to fix or is “a miss in
engine” too vague. Im too ignorant as of yet to
know or simply is $2500 too much. It only has 67k
miles. Manual

Yes, it is too vague. Unless you can determine the cause yourself, I suggest you have a reputable shop give you some help and make a professional diagnosis. Could be an easy fix like a spark plug that is misfiring or something much more significant like a damaged valve. The price is reasonable but, without knowing more about the car, I can't tell you what to pay. Ask the owner if it is the original engine. A formula should have a 350 CID engine.
