Question type: Car Customization

I have a 1997 Grand Am GT with a 2.4 L . I have a 3.8 liter V-6 and transmission . Will it fit into this car? I understand I would have to do exhaust work and other things . I just want to know if it is possible to install it with out a lot of problems

Hi davis1997GT, You may have some major hurdles to overcome in doing this swap. Some of the larger hurdles will be engine mounts, hood clearance, engine bay room and wiring/computer issues. This will probably not be a weekend job even if you are a mechanic. Good luck!

Key won’t start car but will light up all lights on dashboard. You can start it by jumping starter. Where is wire from key switch to starter?
