I have 97 pontiac transport with 171000 miles what type of spark plugs and wire should be used?

Stick with AC Delco spark plugs, for some reason GM engines (I find) run best with them. as for wires, I would contact your local part store to find out what they have, I am partial to 8MM wires (premium brands), I find they last the longest and take a good amount of abuse.
