Accel issues + whirring

Ever since getting my 2005 Saturn Vue back from
the shop, it has been accelerating weirdly,
sometimes not accelerating past 70mph. It has
also had a strange whirring noise from under the
hood. Makes me think belt, but there was nothing
noticeably wrong with the belt. Any other ideas?
