2005 Saturn Vue drivers brake sticking
Driver side wheel bearing had went bad and
caused the brake pads to wear off quick so I parked
the vehicle at home and order a new wheel bearing
new caliper new pads and new rotors put
everything on and the brakes were sticking on the
driver side so then I proceeded to change the
rubber line that goes from the brake line to the
caliper and the break is still sticking so bad to wear
on a downhill slope the vehicle will come to a stop
my mechanic had told me it could be the ABS
module so I changed out the ABS module and
block and it is still sticking we thought maybe there
was a manufacturer with the original caliper so I
ordered another one and to my surprise it is still
sticking we were under the impression it would start
sticking after 3 to 5 miles this morning I had drove
about 100 feet down the road to the library to use
their Wi-Fi and left the vehicle running when I went
to back out about a half hour later The vehicle
hardly wanted to move because of the pressure that
had built up on the driver side break keep in mind I
had only driven 100 feet down the road without the
brakes sticking so now I realize that was the car
running and not in motion it will build up the
pressure on the brake caliper to cause the brakes to
stick this has been an ongoing problem for about
four months that I have been trying to solve by
myself And multiple mechanicsPlease if anybody
has had this problem or knows how to solve it get
back to me ASAP I am about $700 into this project
thanks Jeremy
