I have a 2004 Saturn Ion. The battery keep going dead. Will run good for two or more days then it is dead again. What can be killing the battery?

Can jump off car. It cranks good for a few days then go dead again.

Have battery and alternator checked. Also tighten and clean all battery connections. The negative connections on the frame and motor too.

Sorry to piggy back,but I've been told by the GM dealer that they no longer make the cables that go from the battery to the engine compartment and they couldn't help me. I know the battery is in the trunk,so if I get the part, how does the cable run from trunk to under the hood? Thanks.

Have 2007 Saturn Vue. Replacing battery at Goodyear store. Is a specific battery required.
