Engine swap and now will not run

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Will idle on either but not rib. Jumped fuel
relay under hood and have good pressure.
Head lights flicker and relays under hood
at same time.

Is the existing ECM compatible with the new engine? Were all sensors hooked up?

It sounds like something is not hooked up or that the fuel injectors are not firing.

Fuel pump will not purge and injectors not working. He removed the fuse box. I'm wondering if something in that area not grounded back good? Had non of these problems before the engine swap. Headlights will flicker about six times with them in off position. When I crank the motor and just stop cranking. The head light indacater in the dash will flash about six times?

If the fuse box was removed then how is anything working? It sounds like you have a mess on your hands.

You probably need a factory wiring diagram and a lot of patience. Good luck.

Yes I agree. Wish he would have not bothered if he didn't know. I'm going to dig into it tomorrow and hopefully get it. If I don't. I will have better info for help. Thank you for your help tonight!!!!
