Is my Subaru Legacy worth continued maintenance?

Asked by GuruC9YBZ Feb 01, 2019 at 02:30 AM about the 2004 Subaru Legacy

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Subaru is a 2004 but when I got it in 2008 it has only 28,000 km. Now it
has 102,000. I'm told it needs a new timing belt. I got new tires 4 years ago.
How long can I expect this car to last or should I be looking for something
new?

1 Answer

102,000 miles or km? Either way I would do the timing belt if the car is not rusted out. Your car can run 200,000 miles or more with proper maintenance.
