Looking to buy a used 2001 Legacy and it has a slow oil leak. Any advice?

find out where it's leaking from before you buy it!!! take it to a shop and ask them to look at it cause you are considering buying it, most of the time they will give it a free 10 min check of fluids for gas or coolant in the oil, listen to the valves and check for leaks.
