i have a uk spec scooby turbo , the other day when it boosted and got to 4500 rpm the engine cut out it done this a few times but now it seems ok. mind u it was snowing and thinking some damp got into the vents and got some sensors wet or damp.but now since that the revs are going fromm 1000rpms to nearly cutting what could this be ? can anybody help ?

It could be the factory boost or fuel cut functon in your ECU is malfunctioning and is cutting the revs and boost at inappropriate times. Otherwise it could be your spark plugs or the injectors. Nothing major to repair though (Thank God)

it boosts fine now had it on the machine today when had it M.O.Ted which it passed thankfully no faults came back iam thinking its plugs and filters it needs its 6 month service anyways next month ill get some injector fluids at the same time . thanks anyways .
