does anyone know a cheap way to fix failure in air springs? my front end keeps dropping. audie suggested a costly removal and bypass suspention with a traditional spring shock...

Some have used Slime tire sealant...about 12oz per corner. It didn't work for me, but there are aftermarket shocks for less than half of the OEM units. That's what I did and they work great.
you drive a $50k car. there aren't many cheap fixes. I have seen people use the suspension from the allroad in an A6 so I would imagine you could do the reverse. You can buy A6 after market kits for around $800 then just pay for installation. Those allroad springs are like $800ea so that will save you a good amount of money, you just won't be able to adjust your ride height anymore.
