2003 Rav4 Scraping sound while driving

I have a 2003 Rav4 that recently has started making a strange scraping sound coming
from the rear (not sure which side).  It started out only scraping/grinding when I took
corners.  Now it starts right away as I drive - like a rotating scraping sound.  It speeds
up and gets louder as I go faster, but the rotations are still slower than the tire
rotations... then it eventually fades and gets quieter again.  Does anyone have any
insight on what could be the cause?  Thank you!

Thank you! I had it at the dealer for maintenance 2 weeks ago and I was told my brakes are fine. (Also the sound is when I'm driving and quiets when I'm braking). I was worried it might be a drive train issue, which sounds very expensive.
