My battery light is on, but the alternatir is new
and the cahrging voltage is right. What can be the
problem?

Its a brand new battery, i put a extra ground cable direct from the alrernator and its now the 3rd alternator i put in over the last 5 years, its not the bushes and as i say the light is semi on, not bright but not dead. And when off the battery reading is 12.5v and when idling just above 14v and when revving 14.6v
