where is the fuel line filter located i need to cahnge it

My car has been towed twice yesterday and my mechanic is on vacation. My 93 camry simply stops or won't start though it turns over with vigor. When towed, with front lifted, it starts and will probably run for 5-10 miles before going bliblibliblah and that's all she wrote. reminds me strongly of an old doge van I had with similar syptoms. The car has been kept up on a regular basis and so i want to try the fuel line filter and see if that may be where the problem lays before getting into expensive exploratory stuff.
