If your check engine light is on, you should get the error codes read. I know that it's not running so that may be difficult at this time, unless you know someone with a code reader. I would start by removing the throttle body and cleaning it. Buy some throttle body cleaner. Remove your IAC and clean or replace it. Do a tune up if you don't know when the last time on was done. Change your plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter, fuel filter, PCV. Clean your battery terminals and grounds. Get a volt meter and see how many volts your battery if putting out with the engine off. You may have a weak battery. If the battery has caps on the top, pop them off and check the water levels. May have a dry cell. If battery is over 5 years old, you should just replace it. Post back with results. Hopefully it will at least run.
