bought a motor out of this year camaro how can i tell if it is the good powered motor

as in the horsepower and reliabilitie and will it be a good motor for my 1991 chevy 2wd pickup

Hard to tell Randy unless you find an engine shop to put it through it's paces. And if you find a way to tell how reliable an engine is going to be in advance I know about 50 NASCAR crew chiefs and 50 million car owners who will want to talk to you. I'm assuming you aren't talking about the 2.8 V6, so I'll tell you that the 305 came in 170 and 215 HP flavors and the 350 put out 235 hp. Hope that helps. Good luck!
