Hello, There are a number of different reasons your car may be running hot. First, the thermostat may be off, so it's not running hot after all, but thinks it is. Next, the thermostat may be sticking (happened to me...my car was so confused!) There may also be a reason the car is running hot that may cover a variety of problems. Your best bet may be to take it in and see if the mechanic knows the root cause before attempting to fix the symptoms yourself. Best of luck! CarGrrl
