Installed a Battery Tender Junior in vette. Red light came on when plugged in, not green after 24 hrs. What should I do next

It came on as Red because you don't have the minimum required voltage to start a trickle charge. Jump start the car, get the minimum volts, usually 10 or 11, by running the altenator for 10-15 minutes. Shut down the car and connect the charger.

Tom is right, the red light always is on until the battery charges up, it's only a trickle charge so it could take several days to charge slowly, but eventually will get the job done, and the green light will come on at that time. I keep mine plugged in always, and my vette always fires right up, when it's time for a ride......
