There's no such thing as an "average" 1969 Camaro! They're all extraordinary! (Just kidding....) Base price for a 1969 Camaro was approximately $3600-3800. The top-of-the-line ZL1 sold for an amazing $7200!

1969 Camero Rally Sport With Hounds Tooth Interior Sold for $3,100
Yeah they were pretty much in the $2700 to $3500 range depending on the options you ordered. But they could have also gone to $6000 as well for one like the X-11.
the real question is how much did it NOT sell for? (illuminati confirmed)
Mine was a RS 327 4 speed ordered from factor, for $3,470
I paid about $5500 for my 1969 Camaro Rally Sport 302 engine with all the options including an the eight track player on the centre of the console. Bright yellow with black stripes and hideaway head lights and black interior 4 speed standard.. It was straight from the factory. Houbie
I paid $4000 for my 1969 Z28 in Pittsburgh back in 69. Burnished brown with white stripes 4 speed and bad as hell. Loved that car like no other, unfortunately had to sell it due to military service.
I paid $2,850 cash ‘out the door’ for my 327/300 hp, 4 speed Camero in August of 1968.
My all orange 69 was 3200.00
they are all 80,000 for a new one because my sisters fiance told me that because he has one
