it depends what kind of camaro, i've been out in an 02 with the LS1 and a 6 speed and it moved really good, but like and 85 iroc witha 305 in my opinion is kinda on the slow side, but old camaros are sick, i've got a 1970 el camino with a 350 in it and a 69 camaro with a done up 327 whooped my ass out on the track

oh really, alright i wasnt rying to diss your car or anything for the first point, your car actually sounds really sick especially with the 3.73's, i said that because a guy i know has one and it doesnt have posi, and cant even do a burnout, and its 0-60 time is above 10 seconds, like, its slow lol yeah like i said yours actually sounds sweet, and so yours is an 85 with a carb? I had thought by tyhat year they had moved to fuel injection or TBI, well i was wrong once already so i probly am again lol, have agood one man, thanks for correcting me

ummm... i hate these questions... what engine... what spec what year what mods... if your talking about the new SS yeah thats gonna be fast... basically a corvette C6 powertrain bolted onto a australian Vauxhaul VXR chassis i believe... there gonna be quick and fun...

yea if they ever can make it haha chevy is up shits creek without a paddle

in my opinion the only camaro worth owning is the 1969 camaro all the other ones are hideous or seem to have problems with the i.e. the new body style.

thats pretty short sighted i think... lots of camaros in the past have been awesome machines... and im quite sure you will see the camaros hitting the streets next year... its one car that there sure to sell lots of and its a simple and cheap build for chevy... also its been hyped so much that if they failed to produce the company could be sunk by that alone... The new camaro will definetally be the best performance muscle car built in the upcomming muscle car wars... that is untill ford gets off thier asses and gets the GT mustang to 400+hp...

the iroc's (third generation, i believe) were, but the other ones really werent because of a bad power to weight ratio.

The third gens are fast, I had an '87 Iroc with the 5.0 and it could get up there very quickly.

if you have to ask,you dont need one.

I never lost to a Camaro in my 1969 Corvette, a Mustang or Porsche for that matter either. It will get you a speeding ticket. If you want "fast" first define that word you are looking for. Money will fix that for you. New rebuild on the motor/tranny, or new ones, suspension, wheels, tires, and everything else a speed shop can sell you. Don't forget a good exhaust system, then come and look me up.
