How many miles is too many for one of these cars & if so any issues I would have if I bought one as its a 1997 with over 100000 miles.

hi, i just bought 2001 A8L 4.2 v-8 with 300,000. on orignal motor , got caught in old tractor club run in my town , and could not get off the road fast enough, over heated motor , so eith 300,000. on the clock , it was easier to replace with low milage used motor. to your question , these motors hold a lot of oil in engine, mine is like 8 quarts and filter , so , no in my opinion if you take care of these cars ,they are made to run a long time .

Is a 2009 Audi A8 with a 125,00 Mile's for 14,500 too much to pay for..
