True Lt?

Asked by chevygirl_78 Dec 09, 2010 at 09:05 PM about the 1978 Chevrolet Camaro

Question type: General

I have a 78 camaro that is a supposed Type Lt.  It has the sport cloth seats and special door panels, it also has the rear defrost, clock, cruise control that dont work, power brakes and spoiler, but it does not have power windows or locks and does not have ac. Also after running the VIN i found out that this car disappointingly had the L6 in it.  Is this car a true Type Lt?

If you really want to know if it is a true LT go to nastyz28.com!There you can check with your vin and coul tag and look at the options list! You should take out the back seat you my find the build sheet! There is one other way to get the build sheet,gm of canada vintage vehicle service for a price of around 60 dollers to get to build sheet to know if it is a LT!

I have tried and failed to remove the back seat...i dont have enough ass to push the bar back and up to get the seat out lol. I have gone to nasty z28 but that was kinda funny because i think the vin code was for the lt and another model. And the last option i never knew about, ill have to check that one out. Thank you
