68 mustang; After a rebuid i added 4qts of tranny fluid and it started dripping out a metal tubeon left of tranny. Is that tube a overflow or should it be connected to something?

Didn't fill torque converter after a rebuild but added 4 qts through dip stick tube. It started dripping out of metal line on left side of tranny!

Also on those, you can only put 3 to 4 quarts in at first, because the pan fills up and there is a overflow tube. After adding the initial 3 quarts you need to start the engine & let it run as you fill the trany the rest of the way up. As you add a quart you need to have your foot on the break, and shift threw the gears in order to fill all the cavities and torque converter. Should take 7 to maybe 9 or 10 quarts total with a empty torque converter
