Ignition switch

Looking at a 1971 Mustang on ebay---there is an ignition on the column and looks like there is one on the left side of the dash. Just wondering where is the stock location,was something changed? ebay Item number: 300210191103 photo from the drivers seat.Thank you,Ken

Not sure of the 71-73 Mustang , but , earlier models would have had the ignition in the dash , to the right of the steering wheel. So my choice for the original location would be in the dash!!! If the car on E-bay has both , someone had installed a steering column from a later production vehicle.

My 71 coupe has the ignition the column. The Light switch which is a pull knob is located on the left side of the of the dash.
