are all 84 20th anniversary or is there a difference?

i just bought a 1984 mustang convertible and the guy i bought it from said it was the 20th Anniversay, but when i looked up the VIN# it just said 84 Mustang LX.

Hello, Unfortunately, not all 1984 Mustangs are 20th anniversary versions. Here is a web site which gets into some of the details on this car: http://www.gt350mustang.com/ There is also a VIN decoder in the left navigation area if you want to confirm your own. Best of luck! CarGrrl

The special anniversary-edition 1984 Mustang was a GT 350, and it came from the factory white with a red interior and two badges on the dashboard. It came in both hatchback and convertible versions and had one of two engines: a 5.0L HO or a turbocharged four-cylinder. The hatchback 5.0L was the most popular of these trims, with more than 3,000 produced.

i just bought a Documented 20th anniversary edition 1984 1/2 Mustang GT 350 was there a special mid year production run, separate from anniversary trim packages? and if so do you know how many?
