TPS/Front motor mount on 2007 Ford Focus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I'm trying to figure out what is going on with my 2007 Ford Focus.  I was told
I need a front motor mount replaced on it, but I googled symptoms going on
with my car, and it appears that it could be a TPS.  I"m not sure how to tell
which one is correct.  It has a VERY low idle.  Has really begun stalling
lately, had to put it in park to keep the idle high enough.  Sluggish getting up
to speed....seems like lacking in power...ideas?  I feel like the mechanic I
took it to is trying to jip me too....tried charging $415 for a front motor mount
replacement.

Look at the front motor mount! If it is bad, replace it. $415 seems high though.
