Everytime it rains my van chugs sputs and spurts What else do I need to check and replace

Have replaced spark plugs, plug wires, battery and alternator Van has 250,000 + kms

Could be jumping spark some where. This tends to be very noticeable in rainy/foggy/damp conditions. Next time it starts acting up look under the hood for spark jump. Can only be seen at night with no lights shining on top of engine. (Perfectly dark) If this is the problem you will see blue spark jumping from either a coil, distributor(if equipped) or plug wire. Hope this helps.

So then do I change out the coil, PCV, or distributor

it could be your computer pull it out open it and dry it out silicon it closed and all places were water can get in worked for me

I'm sure it's too late for the op but maybe the right answer will help someone. It's the transmission range sensor. There's a water intrusion issue that Ford has made a new seal kit to correct but water causes corrosion on the connector and the sensor goes bad. You'll want to change both the sensor and connector or the new sensor will go bad in a few months.
