wheels and tires

i have a ford f150 with 17 inch wheels and the tires are ready to be replaced.
my boss gave me a brand new set of tires but they are 18 inch tires. can i buy
any 18 inch wheels and make it work or is there something i need to research
further?

Do you have standard painted rims on your vehicle now? If painted and not fancy is of no concern, visit a local junk yard. They should be able to fix you up with a set or four or five rims with the correct bolt pattern for your truck. You may want to consider purchasing another 18 inch tire to use as a spare. You can repaint the new rims to match your truck while you're still rolling around on the 17's..
