Can you have a bad transmission solenoid engine and check light off

Can you have a bad transmission solenoid engine
and check light off.. my truck  is a ford f 150 5.4
triton 4wd 2006... when  acceleration is low gears
kick in perfect but when I give it high acceleration
truck tends to  rev up between 1st and 2nd gear  
until I let go off gas and then second gear kicks in

you could have a broken or worn engine and or transmission mount which will give you that condition. The engine is not in line with the rest of the drivetrain not allowing it to shift till you let off the accelerator and the engine drops back down on the frame.
