2006 Ford F-150 power steering leaking from reservoir cap

My dad has a 2006 F-150. It started pushing power steering fluid out the
reservoir cap. He couldn't drive 60 miles before it was empty. He has
replaced the power steering pump, the reservoir, the rack, and all hoses. He
followed the instructions on bleeding the system and adding new fluid.  Now
its worse and he cant get down the road 20 miles with out losing almost all
power steering fluid.

Any ideas on what is wrong? Thanks.

Was the cap replaced ? Is it over filled ? Try what ever gasket/O-ring or what ever it takes to make a tight seal .

First make sure it has the right power steering fluid, next check the power steering fluid return, make sure it is circulating properly, I did find once that someone didn’t take the little cap off the return tube and just shoved the hose on over it, then check the power steering fluids temperature, it could be overheating and you may need to add in a small oil cooler in the return line.
