The directions in the link above takes only about twenty seconds to do. Would have it reset before you even got your hood open.

On a Ford Escape 2013, to reset the change oil service required signal off...you turn the key on WITHOUT cranking the engine and press the brake and the accelerator at the same time...hold into you see a sign saying that the reset is in progress...it will take like 30 seconds to clear the oil change required sign until you see that the display says reset oil change COMPLETE!!!!.... VOILA!!!!
