Why does my car sound like a tractor all of a sudden?

Asked by hasmoak Feb 06, 2020 at 02:42 PM about the 2006 Ford Expedition

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car sounds like a tractor if it sits in one
spot for too long, whether in drive or park.
Happened after I hit a hole between road and
parking lot. If I hit the gas it starts sounding
normal again

Did you put a John Deere bumper sticker on it? Noises are just about impossible to diagnose on a forum like this. Maybe a damaged exhaust system.
