Question type: General

How long can a 2007 Chevy Impala LS idle on a full tank of gas?, If I were to
start the car and just let it sit there and run, how long before the tank would be  
100% empty? I ask as I do ALOT of driving for work and want to know if I
would be ok to let it run all night as I hunkered down in the back seat for the
night.

that's just crazy, could cause death, not good for your car. as Jim stated get a room

I have an CO detector in the car. What harm would it do to the car?

Not sure about the extended IDLE issue. Trucks idle all night and never have a problem and run over 1 million miles so that myth is debunked. Just FYI.. the answer to that question I asked is roughly 48 hours from FULL to EMPTY.
